1. Controller
Faktoryt acts as the data controller for personal data collected via faktoryt.com and during client engagements. Contact: hello@faktoryt.com.
2. What we collect
- Contact form — name, company, email, phone, the package you're interested in (Prototype, Functional MVP or Product / Platform), whether you require an NDA, and any idea summary you choose to share.
- Engagement data — information you share with us during Discovery and delivery (requirements, assets, feedback).
- Technical data — minimal analytics on page visits, used to improve the site. No advertising trackers.
3. Why we use it
We use your data to respond to your request within 24 hours, to scope and deliver the engagement, to send invoices, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell or rent personal data.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
Article 6(1)(b) — performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps you requested; Article 6(1)(c) — legal obligations such as accounting; Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest in operating and improving our services.
5. Sharing & processors
We share data only with vetted processors that help us operate (hosting, email, invoicing) under data processing agreements, and within the EU/EEA wherever possible. If you sign an NDA with us, those terms also apply.
6. Retention
Contact requests are kept for up to 24 months. Project and accounting records are kept for the legally required period (typically 7 years).
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and object to certain processing. Email hello@faktoryt.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures: least-privilege access, encrypted transport, EU-based hosting where practical, and NDAs with our team.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
